Well, I guess I could upgrade to Windows 2000, if you're not using it. I'd rather not use XP--I've heard bad things about it.

I'll call the phone company as well. It does sound like it might be a modem problem.

I'll drop by with Windows 2000. It might be problematic for you though, because plug-and-play doesn't work too smoothly in 2000. XP, at this point, is pretty secure and stable though. We can discuss tomorrow.
