Creepy Fetish Loser Strikes Again!

I get home tonight to find an email from one "Evans Tiffany" in my mailbox with the subject line "GFY." Assuming this would be: A) yet ANOTHER attempt to inveigle me into a discussion involving whatever weird fetish is on its radar today, or B) an angry diatribe, written from the depths of Mother's basement, demanding to know why I haven't responded, I reported it to Yahoo! spam (didn't read it). Maybe they can have some fun with it.

Because the subject line tipped me off--I'm sure It is veryvery ANGRY (think about what GFY probably stands for) and I didn't want It to take up space in my head. It's more fun mocking It.

What I really should do is reply but set up the email as "Reply to: [email/phone number of The Fungus]." Then sit back and watch the fireworks!

(I won't--it wouldn't be nice *or* practical--but that would be hilarious.)

I have no idea what GFY stands for.... I'm afraid to Google it at work!

It is a rude phrase that angry powerless Its fling, like monkey poo, when they're frustrated. (Not a big deal actually, just rude :)

There was an article in New York Times magazine awhile ago, the profile of a spammer. The writing was *excellent*--without pictures/photographs, the article really captured the grubby, isolated existence of this neckbearded dude whose daily existence consisted of sending out millions of emails and circumventing laws and ethics and human decency in order to defraud old people and immigrants, days at a time spent in wearing dirty boxers and smelly hole-filled tee-shirts, barefoot, days with no social contact or grace notes or levity. It was actually rather sad--even as a crook the guy had no grandeur or dimension. I kind of see Creepy Fetish Loser like that, some poor weird creep who just has NO social contact at ALL, such that he spends his days trying over and over to force the only kind of interaction he can, these weird, tentative "lol"-trying-too-hard-to-seem-innocuous online exchanges.
