I'm back.

Lots to tell, but later, after I've unpacked. For now, New Orleans--battered, bloody and boarded up, dirty, full of trash and flapping in the wind--is still the most pure, shiny, silly fun you can have anywhere. I feel replete with very joy.

And gotten without showing off excess flesh--I was averse to appearing in a Girl Gone Wild video. That's definitely a tourist/French Quarter thing, as opposed to a Mardi Gras parade thing--the parades have children in attendance, so not too many people are flashing!

Oh my crap that's a haul. Good thing you didn't flash anybody; you'd probably need to rent a U-Haul to get it all back home.

I think they're a little afraid of the toxic waste pile of beadage on the floor--it might suck them in. Eventually of course they'll get over their fear and stalk and kill the beads. Because the beads. Must. Die.
