Cooking Out

So, after Heidi's offer of her larger-than-mine George Foreman grill (and Paula's offer to make margaritas), I think I want to have a cookout July 4 weekend. What day is best? I was thinking Sunday and we could all go somewhere to watch fireworks afterward. Or maybe Saturday is better, since we could hang out in my apartment for longer (and risk our lives to climb up to the roof). What do y'all think?

Depending on the size of the boat (and assuming I can even get one), there'll probably be room for 8-10 people.

Yay! That sounds like fun.

I have been on yachts before--when we lived in Fort Lauderdale my grandmother had one--but I was a kid when we moved. OTOH, I can sing and dance on a boat and keep my balance. Does that help?

I don't think we can see the fireworks from the roof--I was looking around yesterday and I think there's too much foliage.

I can't promise anything, because that will be an extremely busy weekend for boat chartering places, but I'm looking into it. I should've booked months ago, but I doubt most places would have considered me qualified to charter. The Bermuda trip should take care of that, of course.

I wouldn't recommend dancing on a 36-foot boat. Singing, perhaps :)
