I did not think that you would be at all.

I found it rather odd that everyone was getting the same answer- I also got Shakespeare, and I know I definitely messed up a few of the questions. I wanted to see what the range of answers was, but this particular quiz did not give the option of seeing all possible answers. I was not in the mood to try different mixtures of correct and incorrect answers, so I decided to answer everything incorrectly, and was surprised by the answer it gave.

There is something to be said about showing respect for the leader of this nation, even if you don't agree with his politics.

I experimented, starting with all wrong answers and changing one answer at a time to a correct one. Apparently there are only two possible outcomes (at about 2/3 correct answers, I went straight from Bush to the Bard). Rather poorly-conceived quiz, if you ask me.

I found the Bush outcome to be completely inappropriate in a literary quiz. There are so many characters out there to choose from that were illiterate, not to mention a great number of historical figures that were and for whom their illiteracy was a signal of their downfall.

There should have been more choices in the answers because not everyone falls into one extreme or the other. Also, the author of the quiz should have done more research into the outcomes before posting the quiz.

I was highly annoyed, and I don't particularly love (or hate, for that matter) Bush.

I don't particularly love him or hate him either. I guess that's my problem with the upcoming election -- I'm indifferent to the two major candidates. The only candidate I really can't stand is Ralph Nader. Him I'd vote against twice, if they let me.

Ralph Nader is a non-entity in every election. He isn't going to get anywhere this time either, no matter how hard he tries.

Al Gore might disagree with you about Nader being a "non-entity" in the last election :) Let's just say, I can't stand him, but I'm rather glad he's running again.

Al Gore had the opportunity to win the vote hands down without Nader "taking away" his votes if he had actually found a way to relate to human beings. He was too robotic, but I think his choice of running mate did him in. Cheney was more likeable and better known than Lieberman.

Hmm, I'd disagree re: Cheney vs. Lieberman. I found Lieberman pretty funny--I remember one incident where someone was introducing him at a crowd and they said "The next Vice-President of the United States--Bob Lieberman!" People were gaspong but he was like, "Joe, Bob, whatever." That seriously cracked me up. I love a politician that doesn't take himself too seriously.
