I called Larry (the director of the short film from last spring) and asked about the copies we were promised. He was all, "Yeah, sorry about that, I've been behind on that..." Me (brightly): "Hey! I could come over and pick it up, that way you wouldn't have to mail it!" Him: "Oh, yeah, that'd be great." So I should have it by Saturday--yay!

So now I have to pick a date for the underwear party--I dn't think I can do it this weekend, and next weekend is Mike's Carribean party. So I'm thinking about the following weekend.

Yay! Semi-nakedness and sheer material everywhere!

The following weekend works out well... now all I need to do is find the perfect outfit. Does leather count? How about chains and whips? :)

I hate to be the one to throw a monkeywrench into the works, especially where scantily-clad partygoers are concerned, but the following weekend is the Hoboken St Patrick's Day Parade. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm Irish, and I'd like to be at the parade (and the partying afterwards).

Nevertheless, I'll defer to the general consensus.

Hoboken St Patrick's Day Parade: boring! I've seen it; there are one or two bands and maybe some guys from the Elks Club. Children even. Besides, it happens too early to be considered a celebration of St Patrick's Day.

We'll just have to go into the city to celebrate when the Parade goes down 5th Ave around the actual holiday (lots more drinking, lots more people willing to party)!

No one goes to a parade to watch the parade! It's about the drinking social scene afterwards.

As I said, the social scene afterwards around here is BORING! No bar fights, no drunken losers running around... Wouldn't you rather take part in the social scene where the partying is real? :)

Well hell, if there are to be no bar brawls, any good Irishman has to choose scantily-clad lasses instead!

Maybe someone can dress in green lingerie to tie it in? In any case, scantily-clad lasses trump pretty much everything.

I've already purchased something colorful bright obnoxiously loud, with a tropical theme, which I deemed appropriate at the time. Since St. Patrick's Day will be a more timely theme, however, I'm sure I can find something in green.

Unless, of course, you're suggesting that specifically a scantily-clad lass should be the one in green.

I guess I have some shopping to do this weekend... I am not sure about the odds of finding emerald green lingerie, though.

It shouldn't be a difficult choice at all: drinking in a bar with a bunch of other fully clothed, not-so-great-looking individuals or drinking at a party with a bunch of scantily clad men and women (depending on your preference, of course). If you choose (a) over (b), there is something seriously wrong with you. :)
