FB Virus or what?

Has anyone else been getting endless FB invitations to join a group called "Full Movies" complete with the supposedly personal message of " :))))))) "? I've gotten at least five in the past week, and a couple of them strike me as odd--I can't imagine my music professor from Sweet Briar has much interest in this group, nor that he would write such a message. Is it a virus or just a group very successful at self-promotion?

There is such a Facebook group. Whether the messages you're getting are being generated by a virus or not, I don't know, but it's definitely possible.

The FB group posted a bunch of YouTube links to movie trailers on February 16th, followed by a link to "onlinemovies.com.nu" which I'm not going to touch with a 10-foot mouse. Since then, nothing, but the group hasn't been removed, and it's been 4 weeks.

Anyway, it smells bad to me. I'd delete the messages and avoid the group page.

A friend of mine was just mentioning this today. It's definitely fishy. Definitely not clicking.
