I liked that she said straight out that Barack Hussein Obama is a shitty name. Sometimes I feel like the Democrats were afraid that they'd win too easily in this election, so they picked someone with the scariest name they could find.
On a side note: I like Sarah Silverman, but I got the impression that a lot of women didn't (though, in retrospect, that wasn't based on much), so I think it's cool that you do.
She has such a great deadpan. I actually haven't been able to watch her much (I don't get cable these days) but I love her videos.
I just find her combination of humor and sincere earnestness in this video fascinating--it's like when John Stewart went off on that twinkie Tucker Carlson.
That was seriously funny. Now I'm going to tell you something not so funny. And as you read this you will find your self getting more and more angry at me as that seems to happen every time I tell this tale: I lived in Florida 2 elections ago and I didn't vote. I had political apathy at the time and figured, "Why bother." I didn't think there was any way that GW would beat Al Gore. I was even registered down there, but instead of voting I went home, put my feet up and fell asleep after work. Imagine my horror when I woke the next day and found out who'd won? Imagine how much worse it got for me over the next few days when the "scandal" broke... Imagine how all my friends were Über angry at me when I admitted to not bothering to show up to the polls... My one vote, LITERALLY, could have seriously changed the course of history and erased the last horrifying 8 years. Imagine having to live with that.
