As logistically rigorous as auditions are, I actually love holding them. I really enjoy seeing how people take direction--how someone can read the text and then, I give them a note, they execute it beautifully, and suddenly it's a whole new experience.

BTW: You find someone that can play an instrument yet?

Date: 2007-06-12 06:11 pm (UTC)I don't shuffle papers to look important :) My whole thing at auditions is to demystify the process, to make the auditionee feel as relaxed as possible so they give the best audition possible.
You should ask me specific queswtions via email, since some of those auditioning are on my friends list.
