Saw some great talent tonight.

As logistically rigorous as auditions are, I actually love holding them. I really enjoy seeing how people take direction--how someone can read the text and then, I give them a note, they execute it beautifully, and suddenly it's a whole new experience.

Yo! I LOVE auditions. Sitting behind that table; looking dismissively at hopefuls gives me a rush. I'll admit it!
If I knew you were holding them I would have enjoyed keeping you company (and shuffling papers about to look important) ;-)
BTW: You find someone that can play an instrument yet?

You can come tonight if you like. Tracy is helping me read but we can always use another set of helping hands.

I don't shuffle papers to look important :) My whole thing at auditions is to demystify the process, to make the auditionee feel as relaxed as possible so they give the best audition possible.

You should ask me specific queswtions via email, since some of those auditioning are on my friends list.
