I'm on the mailing list for The Attic Ensemble in Jersey City (I have no idea why, since I've never auditioned there or seen any of their plays) and they sent out ann announcement earlier this week. They're having auditions for The Last Night of Ballyhoo, a play I LOVE, and there's a part that's perfect for me--Sunny, the shiksa-looking, Wellesley-attending daughter. Julie and I have talked several times about doing that play--she would've played Boo and had Tracy and me play Lala and Sunny respectively. Man, I so want to audition but 1) I think rehearsals would be a huge pain in the ass, and 2) I think Admit Impediments would conflict with it.

Argh!

Wouldn't be too much worse than coming to Hoboken!
Attic Ensemble is very close to the Grove Street PATH station.
