OJ's buzz is stomped--ordered to stop spending book advance.

The only good thing about that horrible book deal is that all those people who cheered when he was acquitted? All those guys who applauded because a guy got away with nearly cutting off his ex-wife's head and a completely random passerby? Yeah, you can stop playing devil's advocate (literally) and saying "we don't know if he did it..." He's admitted it. Yes. He did it.

There was an article in last week's New York magazine about the fall of Judith Regan that discussed that deal--at one point in the book, or in an interview about the book, Regan asked him if he ever visited her grave. He said yes, he visits her grave and curses her for ruining his life.

I just.....no words.

Thank God for the Goldman family. Good for them for being completely relentless--every time he thinks oops, bygones, can I come out now?, they pop up and serve him with more papers. It's all they can do, and it sure doesn't bring their son back but at least he's getting some retribution. They are like avenging angels or something. Hell is here on earth.

Back when the whole OJ brouhaha was happening, I had recently graduated college (USC, where OJ went as well) and I knew people who basically cheered OJ on during his low speed chase. For a time, USC wouldn't display OJ's jersey or any of his football accolades until after the trial. Once he was "aquitted," his stuff was put back but under tighter security so it wouldn't get stolen.

I, too, am glad the Goldman's are dogging his every move. I feel bad for his poor kids.

I can't believe they display even if he was "acquitted." Because we all know he did it, and now he's virtually admitted it. Damn, that is really tacky of USC.

His kids. Jeez. I can't even imagine what their life is like, much like the kids of Phil Hartman.

Yeah, well TPTB at USC figure all his accolades came before the crime so you can't take away what he did. Someone in the school paper wrote an editorial basically saying that it was a stupid argument because it's like celebraing Charles Manson's achievements before he murdered people. Any good he did was negated by the crime he committed regardless of being aquitted.

I'm not sure if his stuff is still under display but I do know that at USC football games, his jersey is still mentioned as one of the Heisman Trophy winners. When they announce his name, people boo. And I don't think he's been invited back to USC to participate in any sports related celebrations.

Exactly! Who gives a crap if he won the Heisman?? He murdered--SLAUGHTERED-two people??

Good. He never had to go to jail, but I like that people haven't forgotten. If he can't go to jail, we can punish him anyway.
