These are two of the participants (Cecil Price is the one on the left, the one on the right is the sheriff) in the 1964 Neshoba County murders of the three civil rights workers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_civil_rights_worker_murders). The movie Mississippi Burning is about that case, albeit somewhat fictionalized--the FBI wasn't nearly that concerned.

It's inexcusable. Some trash-talking is expected, and fun but this is just cruel.
When I emailed the Tribune, I made sure to say something like "these specific fans" as opposed to "all Chicago fans." (Although right now I hate THE ENTIRE CITY [/glower].) But I know most of them are probably not assholes.
