ceebeegeeI've been so domestic tonight. With the apples I brought home on Saturday, I made apple sauce and found an awesome recipe for apple bread online. Apple bread with pecans and raisins--I played with the recipe and substituted whole wheat flour and added nutmeg and cinnamon. And real butter (the recipe called for shortening--pfah!). The batter tastes awesome. I mixed the batter but haven't baked it yet.
I've been watching House of Cards as well. Fantastic serial drama I saw on PBS back in the early '90s.
