I'm watching the movie Open Water on TMC right now. Holy, holy shit. This movie is terrifying. The scene with the storm is just unbelievable.

I know! I looked them up on Wikipedia. Just--oh my God. I actually missed a good chunk of the movie because it was so terrifying; I kept switiching to another channel.

I've never heard the phrase "mother of shit" before. But what immediately came to mind was "Bran flakes are the mother of shit."

I think it's a conflation of Mother of God and Holy Shit. I use it for special emphasis. Because that movie was absolutely terrifying.
