I am really missing Nawlins right now. I suppose it's because of all the Katria anniversary documentaries and whatnot.

Man, do I love that city. Krista, we goin' again for Mardi Gras this year?

Hey, I been there in 2003.
I had a marvelous time; stayed in a bed and breakfast called the Melrose Mansion, took the Natchez down the Mississip, drank Hurricanes and ate crawfish like they was goin' out of style, loved the Voodoo and Wax Museums!
Yeah, it's a wonderfully evil old town, but I wouldn't want to go during Marti Gras. I LOATHE crowds. (funny that I live in NYC, eh?)

If you go early in the season, the crowds are much smaller.

Wow, that looks gorgeous. And what a great location. I may have to check out that place for my next trip, although I really liked my last hotel.
