I just read that Parker Brothers is phasing out paper money for the board game and moving to a credit card-styled interface (with calculators and swiping and all that). I'm all for cell phone Monopoly, but digitizing the physical board game I cannot get behind. You're supposed to be able to look at your opponents' piles of money and revel in how poor they are while you enjoy your cavier and play Squash with Roderick.
