Man, the Boy Scouts just cannot catch a break

Another Scout tragedy.

We talked about this in the car on the way up to Newport. I used to like Boy Scouts--my brother was a cub scout and a good friend of mine from high school made it up to Eagle Scout. But now I don't like them (the people that run it, I mean) because of their anti-gay stance. But geez--those poor kids.

What a horrible way to go, too - you can be smoke-free, drug-free, optimistic... tree falls on your HEAD.

I know. I was just thinking the same thing. Isn't it weird that they have had so much tragedy in just one summer. I mean, just WEIRD.
