Re: the mayor--doesn't that just make your head explode??? Isn't that outrageous? I just want to get in his face and say "as a white Southerner, how dare you be that unaware? You are not allowed to be that blithe about that part of our history--you are not allowed to pretend that didn't happen. You must bear witness." Every Mississippian knows about the Klan, and what happened in Neshoba County.
