"Lady Marmalade" (the 2001 version) has been going through my head this morning. "...Ladies and gentlemen...welcome--to the Moulin Rouge!"
Where's all my soul sisters,
lemme hear ya'll flow, sisters
He met Marmalade down in old Moulin Rouge...
Such a great song. Everyone looks fabulous in it (in an over-the-top kind of way) and they all seem to be enjoying themselves so much. And my girl Christina ROCKS THE FUCK OUT in her verse. Damn, she's got some pipes. I loved it when Pink (with the other three) accepted the Grammy for best video and said "Thanks to everyone who thought we'd make good whores, appreciate it." Hee!
