It's a lovely day today...

ceebeegeeI took advantage of the sunny, beautiful day and walked up to Central Park to see the Gates project. It's quite lovely, all those gorgeous orange shimmery fabrics lifting in the breeze. It was wonderful to sit in the sun, surrounded by orange and green, hearing a sax player wailing away, watching people enjoying the day. One of those days that make you love New York City.
It is February 15--we are halfway through February, and almost 2/3 of the way through winter. In 11 days Doug and I will be in beautiful SUNNY New Orleans, enjoying even warmer weather there. I plan to wear my atomic balls mod dress, as it's too cold to wear here yet, and it packs very well.
