I got "Defying Gravity" last night. Awesome song. Also got "Popular" last night--haven't listened to that yet, but since that's a Glinda song, I'll check it out soon. It occured to me last night why in July, when Duncan and I were at Marie's Crisis, that guy kept talking to Duncan about my doing Wicked and Duncan was telling him I have the notes--because I was a petite blonde soprano, like Kristin Chenoweth.

What other songs does Glinda have?

What Is This Feeling is the best. I like to sing that. Seth and I play different roles. Singing Popular is fun but can be tiring. I have to hand it to Kristin, her belt rocks.

What Is This Feeling is such a great song. It's so much fun to sing the word loathing like 20 times. Popular is tiring, but so much fun. Kristin does rock. I think, as an actor, that the toughest song for Kristin must be I Couldn't Be Happier, because of the dichotomy of lyrics and emotion. You know, where you're putting up the front. Love it.
And, for extremely obvious reasons, Defying Gravity is my favorite song in the whole show.
