So today I did a test shoot for a spec print ad, for a sports bra. The concept: me juggling a soccer ball in said sports bra. The shoot was short and sweet, 20 minutes shooting for a cool $50, in a studio in midtown near Macy's. I show up and eventually the photog does as well. He gives me a soccer ball, a smaller one (size 3) which is really easy to juggle as it's so small. I was going crazy with it, juggling off my knees, thighs, the outisde of my foot, my shoulders, my chest, my head. It was TONS of fun. Ten years of soccer came back to me and I had a blast doing the shoot. The one thing I would've changed is I had my hair down, and it really should've been in a ponytail--I never, ever played soccer (or basketball, baseball, tennis or ran track) with my hair completely loose, it was always in a ponytail or braids or barrettes). The guy gives me cash, wants to know if I do figure modeling (for which he pays very well) and tells me he'll email me the pictures (not every photog does this, BTW, if they pay you, so that's cool of him). If there are any good ones, I'll post them on my site.

I don't know--remember, he's a photographer and judging from his page, so his stuff is more glamour than artistic.

I would love to come to Marie's Crisis--I have been very poor lately. Hmm. Maybe Saturday, with my ill-gotten gains.
