She's awesome. She's the one whom I told about the guy calling me Snow on the streets of Harlem, and we made the joke about how she could be Cocoa, and we'd be crime fighters. Her ex-BF is also doing very, very well--he was Papa Doc in 8 Mile and he starred (like, STARRED--he was the star) in that recent Spike Lee movie She Hate Me. He's great too.
I just sent her a squealy "Congratulations!!!!" email and she responded "Thanks, Mama" So happy for her!!
