ceebeegeeI went downstairs to the concourse at 30 Rock to get some lunch. NBC has set up a big...to-do, with cameras and microphones and whatnot. If anyone here can watch NBC and see a background that says something like "blog.nbc.com" with three bloggers at their keyboards, that's being broadcast from here. There were a bunch of people milling about, including Ron Reagan! It took me a second to recognize him, because his images in my consciousness are all from the '80s, like when he was on Saturday Night Live and danced with the Joffrey. [obvious]He looks older now.[/obvious]
I love this day. I love watching the news, I love the excitement of staying up late to watch news that will affect me, I love feeling connected to so many other Americans.
