A simple reason comes to mind: No factual error has been found in Fahrenheit 9/11; most of the material there, while deeply embarrassing to President Bush, is well established.

By contrast, the charges against Mr. Kerry have been brought by people who have been contradicted by the testimony of those who witnessed the events.

Let's stop pretending that character assassination through wild accusations is the same as exposing embarrassing truths.

The Guerrilla Queer Bar Takeover

The formula is simple: On the third Friday of the month, a group of gay men and lesbians descends on an otherwise "straight" bar for the night...Jones denies that the event has a specific agenda, saying, "I just want to go out and get a beer. I would LOVE to be a part of that. I'd especially love to see the looks on the Hooters patrons when they descend on them.

Shallow, clothes-oriented post

Today I'm wearing a simple French-cut white tee-shirt and white fringe-cuffed pants. It's all about the citrus accents (set against the white)--chartreuse belt, clear white kitten-heeled sandals with a limegreen ribbon accent, a green watch, green mod earrings, orange nails and green liquid eyeliner and shadow (with nude lips). My underpants are also green--boycut mesh with a green-on-green pattern. No bra, of course.
