My back hurts again today.

I got up around 10:30 and worked on the postcard mailing. Writing those out is so tedious--over and over "contact me for industry comps...upcoming performances are..." blah blah blah. I left around noon to go to church, and then walked down to Old Navy to try to get some flip flops. I have been searching for some casual, comfortable flip flops (ideally in terry). Man, it's the Holy Grail, I can't find what I want anywhere. On my way there I bought some lip venom, a product that gives you red, bee-stung lips. It's interesting--I'm not used to such pouty lips. The effect is subtle but noticeable.

Didn't find any cute flip flops at Old Navy, although I did find a couple of cute tops, including a skin-tight yellow ballet-neck shirt. I love skin-tight tops, especially with no bra.

The other day, Phillip in Real Estate was telling someone about his middle name, which is Towle. He said his parents looked at the family names that hadn't been used yet and were like "You get this one, dude. Suck it up." The other banker was asking about it and Phillip mentioned its connection to silverware. Phillip called over to me "right, Clara?" and I called back "Yep, it's my mother's pattern." Trust Southerners to know about important things like silver patterns.
