God, I just want to be OUT today, OUTSIDE enjoying this fantastic weather. I think I'll go to the beach on Sunday, if it's not raining. Anyone wanna come with? (Yellow bikini, Nathan's hot dogs, picnic basket...)

I need to push myself to see and do some things: I must see Much Ado, Fahrenheit 9/11 and also look into standing room tickets for some current shows like Wicked which apparently every gay man I meet thinks I should be in! Also must plan for the Renaissance Festival (the one in Tuxedo) sometime this summer--I think my schedule will quickly fill up after September starts. I also want to go canoeing--you can do it for free in the Hudson on weekends.

I miss Florida. Reading Duncan's post about the architecture there--it's so beautiful there, in a kind of hot, saturated way.

Going tanning later, again.

OT--I get so dizzy when I stretch or stand up. I hate having low blood pressure.

That only works if you have enough wind for the boat to move and pull you along. Both times that I have gone sailing with [livejournal.com profile] minstrel70, there have been periods of time when there was no wind at all. You might come to an abrupt stop.

Oh, I know. I've been waterskiing before--you generally need an engine--it was a joke, like the hanging over the side.

The abrupt stop on the last sail had absolutely nothing to do with the wind :)

No, it wasn't. :)

But I would just like to point out that it wasn't my fault. Moral of the story: do not try to go around the side of the Statue of Liberty closest to NJ.

Especially at low tide.

I'd also like to point out that I was neither at the helm nor navigating when this occurred.
