I can't find any record of where he went to high school, but he would have been class of '93. He played for Wake Forest from '93-'97 before going pro.
It's probably not the one you knew, though, because his bio says something about him being a promising swimmer until his local pool was destroyed by Hurrican Hugo, which doesn't seem likely to have hit Ohio.
