When I went as a pirate last year, I just got cheap black sweat pants and chopped them off raggedly at the knee... That was effective. You could even have the ones I wore, if you want, though I'm sure you could fit seven Claras into them. Same for my poet shirt.
If you want to borrow my eyepatch, do-rag and fake daggers (sorry, no sword), you're welcome to them.
Maybe that sexy leather thing you got at the renaissance festival would be a good start toward an Elf costume...
