No, no, Theseus was in the miniseries that was about Helen of Troy, so it covered her entire life, not just the war. Theseus kidnapped Helen when she was a child/teenager--he wanted to marry the daughter of Zeus, but her brothers rescued her. Theseus was not at Troy.
I've never seen either director cuts but I have the one for Gladiator on my Netflix queue--didn't know there was one for Troy. I bet it's great though, I really don't know why that movie underperformed. I think it was a Brad Pitt thing (a lot of people didn't like him as Achilles)--the movie was beautifully shot.
