And it is also a victory for America that people stepped into the voting booth and, after considering the content of his character and his stance on issues, and without any regard to the color of his skin, decided to vote for someone else. I may not celebrate the result (and I would not celebrate a McCain victory either) but I celebrate the equal opportunity.
