Sunday at my Mom's

I'm at me mum's right now, down in Falls Church, helping her with grocery-shopping and laundry and whatnot, since her accident. I took the bus down which wasn't bad at all--super-cheap and I napped most of the time, and was also able to get some proofreading done. (And frankly, Port Authority is MUCH easier to get to than La Guardia. As much as I love to fly, getting to LGA or JFK is like punishment.) More proofreading projects = more producing $. I was also came across an article in New York magazine about a guy with a non-profit theater puppet group, who has some interesting fundraisers--he hosts twice-monthly gatherings of underwear-clad (or are they naked?) gay men. It got me to thinking of what kind of fundraisers I could have for Holla Holla. We don't have 501(c)3 status yet, so any admission I would charge would not be deductible, but I don't think that would affect significantly the gate of whatever it is I decide to do. My apartment is not that big but...we'll see. My brain is going in a million directions right now.
