So much to talk about!
First, I am MAD with excitement--the 2005 Spotlight On Award nominations were announced today and Eternity: Time Without End received quite a few, including me as Best Actress for Calliope! I had such a good time playing that role--I was thinking about my favorite moment, when Jason was in Diana mode, and I did the limerick with the last line "and beat them to death with a phallus" and Jason erupted "what's THAT supposed to mean??" LOVED that exchange, so much subtext with Calliope. I also loved interacting with Tesse on stage; her character was so tender towards Calliope. Tesse was also nominated for Tara, as were Alex for Marian, Joe Fanelli for Buzz, Brendan for Siete and Ari for Stefan. The entire ensemble was nominated, as was Duncan for directing and writing and production. So excited!!!
I met with a cat lady yesterday and it looks like I'll be adopting another horrible kitten. This one is an actual kitten, only two months old, and he is horribly fewocious. He is a tiny grey striped tabby who is all boy; in fact, he hasn't been fixed yet. I met him last week and he was ADORABLE (although not as cute as Tatia, in case she's reading this); he was separated from his mother too soon so he still has an oral fixation and kept teething on my hand. I have named him Tiberius Hotspur Thpotth (he has leopard-y looking spots on his shoulders). You all may call him Tibby or Hotspur (my mother's not crazy about the name Tiberius--she said "it's just that the real Tiberius wasn't a very nice person." Mom, THAT'S THE POINT--Tibby is all fewocious and bad, and wants to be named after a badass).
Tatia will not be happy about this, and will be moping and hissy for a few weeks. She will need lots of extra love and kisses.
