Oct. 24th, 2004 10:34 pmI carved my pumpkin tonight. It's all horribly thpooky, glowing atop my computer hutch at me. It's very mysterious with its hidden depths alit from within.
Last night Doug and Stacy had their party. I got there around 9:30 and realized I had left my costume at my apartment. I was quite upset but luckily Doug and I worked out a solution, and I was back and in costume before 11:00. *Mwah.* My costume was a Victoria's Secret model--I was wearing a Miracle Bra set with a roses pattern, plus wings and fuzzy mules. I also covered myself in baby oil. I really liked Paula's costume--she was a naughty Catholic schoolgirl, wearing a plaid-skirted uniform with her hair in pigtails and sucking on a Tootsie Pop. Awesome. I couldn't stop laughing (in an admiring way), looking at her. Duncan's costume looked pretty good too--he was the main guy (Malcom McDowell) from A Clockwork Orange. I was actually quite tired and crashed around 1:15.
The next morning, Doug and I watched scary movies on AMC all day. We watched most of The Omen, all of Damien: Omen II and most of The Omen III: Final Conflict. AMC was also showing a couple of ads about the Amityville Horror movies (which they're showing tomorrow and which I must see) and I commented on how stupid the Lutzes were to move into a house where a mass murder had taken place. I pondered aloud that perhaps my career calling was that of a horror movie character counselor--like being a career counselor, or a life coach, I could tell them what they did wrong and how to avoid those mistakes in the future.
