Sunday

We had a Thyme rehearsal on Sunday which went so well. I have a really special feeling about Thyme--there's this perfect chemistry with the cast, everyone seems to get along superbly and is so well-suited for their respective roles. It's just going so well--I'm very disappointed we'll only have the one performance. It deserves much more than that.

I'd discovered that my laptop seems to be on the fritz--Chris came over and helped me with it, and we chatted with the Dell people and they told me to send it back to them. That took up quite a bit of the afternoon, and afterward Chris and I ate at Dinosaur BBQ. After that, we took a very long walk all the way down the Hudson River--we accessed the riverwalk at 125th Street and then strolled until about 66th Street. I didn't even know there was a boat basin on that side of the river. All the boats looked so cozy, all tied up to the docks with their lights spilling across the water. And there's a newly converted pier that has been turned into a walkway that extends well into the river.

Monday

I just slept for a lot of the day, and then scrubbed down my apartment (oh, and watched a lot of tennis). It is immaculate, which always relaxes me. I hate mess--I get tense when I don't have the time to pick up or vaccuum.
