Schadenfreude...
May. 9th, 2007 05:24 pmO*J* S*mps*n Kicked Out of Louisville Restaurant
"I didn't want to serve him because of my convictions of what he's done to those families," Jeff Ruby said in a telephone interview Tuesday. "The way he continues to torture the lives of those families ... with his behavior, attitude and conduct."
...
A customer came up to Ruby and was "giddy" about seeing S*mpson, Ruby said.
"I didn't want that experience in my restaurant," Ruby said, later adding that seeing Simpson get so much attention "makes me sick to my stomach."
AWE. SOME.
Good for him. I'd've kicked out that silly tittering customer as well. If I'd been in that restaurant and that filth had walked in, I would've left. And as I was leaving I would've yelled out "shouldn't you be spending that money to pay off your civil judgement for the deaths of Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown?"
Seriously, good for him. It's nice to see someone who hasn't bought into the whole drooling he's-famous-can-I-touch-him-OMG! subculture.
Ruby said after S*mpson left, people in the restaurant started applauding him. He said he has received about 100 positive e-mails since the incident.
I bet he's going to get some more after this article.
And this:
S*mpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the incident was about race, and he intended to pursue the matter and possibly go after the restaurant's liquor license.
"He screwed with the wrong guy, he really did," Galanter said by telephone Tuesday night.
Riiight. Because there isn't any other reason anyone could possibly have for not wanting that filth in there restaurant. And dude...you might not want to say things like "He screwed with the wrong guy" about S*mpson...I mean, surely you're not saying he might actually DO something, right? He would never do anything ILLEGAL, right?
Those poor kids. Those families...Jesus, why won't he just pay them the judgement and apologize? Why can't he try to make up for what he did somehow?
