![]() You're energetic, athletic, and totally hyperactive. You love playing sports and being in the middle of all of the action. You're independent, courageous, and brave. Unafraid to do things your way. Mars can be reckless, quick tempered, and a little too spontaneous. So think before you act--and resist your natural urges to dominate others. |
Miscellany
Nov. 9th, 2004 06:41 pmI'm sitting here at Lazard, and realize I'm almost fainting. I forgot to eat before I left, so I haven't eaten since 11:00 this morning. Note to self: Don't do that.
It's so brrry cold out. I got my nails done--I have a shoot on Thursday, not a huge one, actually it's only a test shoot but I'm getting some money out of it. So the nails have to look good, or I won't actually book the gig.
Gotta stop by the grocery store tonight to buy eggs, sugar, etc. I'm making a pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving (and possibly a pecan pie but we'll see about that--if I have the time). I make pies from scratch--they are the real deal, with real pumpkin that I puree myself, and lots of yummy spices. I Frenchified the recipe. I love making recipes my own.
It's actually quite pretty out, in a sere, Novemberish way. I love seeing the tiny bright leaves in the gutters and on the sidewalk--these days are different from similar days in January because the leaves are gone then.
I watched A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving last night while I knitted and drank hot cider with rum and spices. YUM. A very cozy evening. Thanksgiving is such a pure holiday. It's impossible to commercialize.
Have to try to go to church tomorrow.
