Frustration with my work computer today.
I'm trying to download the pictures on my crappy old digital camera. The software included doesn't work on this OS (Windows NT), so I called the help desk and they suggested just plugging it into the console--the computer would "sense" the camera and there would be a whole new drive. Well, that ain't happening. I can't access the pictures on my new laptop either--the camera uses a parallel port cord thingy and I need a USB. DAMN. All I want are these stupid pictures and I promise I won't use the damn camera again!
Does anyone have an old (light) monitor I can borrow for a day, just so I can access my old hard drive and download these pictures? (And so I can access the other stuff on my hard drive)
Also, I'm trying to re-read Eternity and I can't open. MS Word keeps freezing or slowing waaaay down, or syaing "Not enough memory." Very frustrating. It's a bloody word document; it shouldn't be slowing things down like this.
