Yay USA gymnastics!!! This'll answer all those naysayers who say Americans only win titles on American soil!! We rocked tonight and last night!! Eat Greek dust!!

And congrats to Sveta too--I've always liked her and her extravagant Russian personality.

The next 36 hours are going to be hell

I'm working a 10.5 hour day today at Lazard, then going downtown to some sort of club to do another makeup promotion from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am. Yep. Then it's home to catch some sleep, and another promotion from 12-4 pm tomorrow.

It's all going towards my expensive Anglo-Saxon mouth.

Read this in Carolyn Hax's Washington Post webchat today:

Interesting. Too reductive though--for one thing, how come there are so many unrequited attractions? But the book sounds interesting.
