Shallow, Clothes-Oriented Post
Dec. 31st, 2003 10:03 amI'm wearing my Western pants today (which, oddly enough, I wore last New Year's Eve as well--I remember changing into them after I got home from the train). I bought these pants last Christmas in Sedona, Arizona--they're light brown suede and VERY high-rise. Like, I have a hard time breathing in them because they go well past my waist over my stomach when I'm sitting. I wish I could cut off the rise--I personally love (reasonably) low-rise pants because they emphasize my hips. Whereas high-rise pants emphasize my waist, and I'm short enough that my body line doesn't need to be broken up like that, it just looks chunky.
I wonder if I could have them altered--do suede specialist alter ready-made garments?
