Rangers Game

After leaving FIT last night, I walked up to Madison Square Garden to meet L for the final third of the Rangers' game. They were tied when I got there, but then dropped two goals. And a fight broke out with 2.5 seconds to go, whereupon three different players were issued penalties lasting from 4-6 minutes, which seems silly since the game is seconds away from ending, and the penalties don't carry over.

The penalty minutes count in the players' season stats, regardless. That can have an impact on salaries down the road.

Of course, it matters not if there's no NHL next year, as seems likely.
