I was watching the diving last night and he was such a pleasure to watch. Also, I feel horribly guilty saying this, but I actually did not know that he was gay, but he set off my gaydar. It was just the way that he would skip and saunter off after each dive. I know, that sounds horrible.
I actually didn't watch it (NBC's site is weird, and I've been able to watch very little), I just came across the story. Apparently he was the first diver (or maybe the first athlete period) who competed while openly gay.
