(no subject)

I went downstairs to the concourse at 30 Rock to get some lunch. NBC has set up a big...to-do, with cameras and microphones and whatnot. If anyone here can watch NBC and see a background that says something like "blog.nbc.com" with three bloggers at their keyboards, that's being broadcast from here. There were a bunch of people milling about, including Ron Reagan! It took me a second to recognize him, because his images in my consciousness are all from the '80s, like when he was on Saturday Night Live and danced with the Joffrey. [obvious]He looks older now.[/obvious]

I love this day. I love watching the news, I love the excitement of staying up late to watch news that will affect me, I love feeling connected to so many other Americans.

Apparently they're doing a feature on the political blogs, with guests Wonkette, Hindrocket, and Markos, bloggers all. Or so I read on Powerlineblog.

Does Wonkette have reddish blonde hair, about chin-length? If so, that's her down there.

I've never seen her on TV, so I couldn't tell you. Unlike Michelle Malkin, she doesn't plaster her photo all over her blog. I understand from other bloggers that have met her that she's quite attractive, but no description is at hand.

Dan Savage has said that if there is ever a law that forces homosexuals to get married to the opposite sex and if he had to marry a woman, he would marry Wonkette, if she would have him.

Oh, and are you joining us in Hoboken to watch returns?

Of course! Wearing the appropriate colors (no, not blue but Red, White and Blue!).

Excellent! Alas, I have no patriotic colors to match, and I've been completely unable to find any GOP-wear, so I'll hardly be dressed for the occasion.
