I really am bummed about this! I was looking at the WoK imdb page and remembering just how damn good that movie is, in no small part due to his amazing, scenery-chewing performance. One of the best sci-fi villains ever. "'Admiral'?! Admiral..."

Man, that has to be one of the best-written, -filmed and -edited action sequences in any movie. It's just perfect. Saavik muttering "I don't understand..." and Krik saying demurely "Here it comes..."

I just watched Star Trek VI again after a few years, and holy wow... they really did a superb job on dramatic tension. And just stellar pieces of dialogue between Kirk and Spock, and Spock and Valeris (Kim Catrall), and Kirk and Bones...

And Christopher Plummer being... Christopher Plummer...

Such an excellent final film.
