Hoping for:

Holiday Inn
A Christmas Carol (with Alistair Sim, although Reginald Owen is an acceptable alternative)

Holiday desserts so far:

Christmas cookies
no fewer than 5 Christmas puddings (I gave my mom a plum pudding, and the two of us received a gift box with four differently-flavored Christmas puddings)
Pecan pie (I made it yesterday)

I know--it was playing last night after church and I had to watch it. I love that movie, even if it *is* unorthodox Xmas Eve fare!

I Tivo'ed White Christmas so that I could watch it and not only was it edited for television (ick), also, it did not end on time so in the last scene, the camera is panning out and they are singing White Christmas and the last line comes, the big finish, and I hear, "And may all your Christmases be--" and that was it. It was actually funny yet very unsatisfying.

You must've seen it on Lifetime which butchered it over Thanksgiving. ABC Family didn't cut it, thank goodness.
