Huh

Did y'all know that Conan O'Brien was offered the role of Harold Hill in the recent revival of The Music Man?

He does not seem the type!

Oh man, awesome.

And I love that Shipoopi has its own page on Wikipedia.

As the original or as a replacement? The buzz was that before Bierko was signed they were trying to get Steve Martin, Martin Short and Scott Bakula.

As a replacement.

Scott Bakula would've been great.

Ray Bolger turned down the original.

Some interesting former Prof. Hills:

Bert Parks
Ed McMahon
Forrest Tucker

Bierko was awesome, though. I am surprised the show did not have a longer run. It was really good.

I would really have loved to see Steve Martin. That would have been neat, though I love Scott Bakula, too.
