Speeeeeeeeed....

I'm watching The Apple now.

Wow.

I think it's upsetting the cats--they started growling at each other soon after I put it on.

1) Don't your cats do that, anyway? and
2) umm, what's The Apple?

The Apple is power. The Apple is desire. The Apple is the future.

The Apple really needs to come back to my apartment when Clara is finished with it.

Duncan and I had a strong bonding experience over The Apple or something. Here's some info:

Man, I can't believe I dressed like that back in 1994.

What you're forgetting about 1994 was that at the time you had a natural, natural, natural desire to meet an actual, actual, actual vampire.

It's a very strange movie musical--think Xanadu mixed with Bowie-esque punk rock. Unbelievably bad. I can't believe they let the producerdirectorwriter anywhere NEAR anything else but he did have a subsequent career.

Here in LA, there's this tiny little theatre in Santa Monica that does midnight showings of Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with the cast on stage and whatnot. At one point, the cast went to Vegas for a big RHPS convention so instead of that movie, the theatre showed The Apple. I went and was just blown away by the sheer cheesiness of it all. It was so deliciously cheesy. And seeing it on the big screen was so much fun, made even more fun by the heckling and singing along by the audience members.

we watched it with goat last night... i'd just like to point out that the choreographer was nigel lithgow, who is responsible for American Idol.
