Only a genetic geek like me would find this interesting. Northern Europeans can process lactose better. I think this is so cool. It's like my love of cheese and ice cream is a connection with my ancestry, a calling card from 20 or 30 or 50 generations ago, although I've never thought of England and Scotland as a hotbed of dairy farming...Well, I have some Norwegian ancestry as well.

I FLOVE dairy products. It's so appropriate I went to Sweet Briar, home of the preppy milkmaids.
