Shallow, clothes-oriented post

I was inspired to wear something to show off all the new earrings I've been buying lately. I have on white casual cotton pants, slightly cropped with frayed hems at the bottom, fairly low-riding. Because the gold, '70s, stretchy metal belt I have on is made for the waist (not the hips), I hooked the ends into the loops (as opposed to actually hooking the ends together--now it looks like I have two golden arms reaching around my hips, ending just above my pockets). My top is an ice lavender nubby satin Thai top, sleeveless (to show off the tan) ending juuuust above the pants and showing a bit off tummy if I'm not careful. Miracle bra--this top needs it a bit. And white sandals.

The earrings are dangly and old-fashioned with lots of stones in various shades of purple and fuschia.
