Regarding the entry below, in the interest of full disclosure, I should mention I'm not an Ayn Rand advocate, nor am I any sort of disciple of Objectivism. I read it because Peter sent it to me when I was on the ship. (Although I was flattered when he told me that I was his Dagny Taggart. And not just for the obvious reasons.)

And, elitist/meritocrat that I am, I agree somewhat with the philosophy of "Some people count; some don't."
